Erbil (IP) – The second Iranian trade fair was launched in the Iraqi Kurdistan region at the Erbil International Fair.

Iran PressMiddle East: The exhibition opened on Tuesday in the presence of the Iranian Ambassador to Iraq, Iraj Masjedi, the Iranian Consul General in the Kurdistan Region, Nasrallah Rashnoudi, Minister of Trade and Industry of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Kamal Saeed, the Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources, Begard Talabani, and the Governor of Erbil, Omed Khoshnaw.

The trade fair will be wrapped up on December 25, 2021.

About 140 Iranian manufacturing companies and 450 traders and merchants are present at the trade fair, presenting their products. High-quality goods such as exquisite Iranian carpets, handicrafts, and all kinds of furniture are presented in the exhibition.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, the Iranian ambassador to Baghdad met with the Head of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani; the two sides discussed ways to expand Tehran-Erbil economic cooperation.
