Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced that 43 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 131,167.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to December 21, 2021, a total number of 6,175,872 people in the country have contracted COVID-19.

Records show that so far, 6,012,695 of the infected people have recovered. 

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 2,413 cases, of whom 376 patients were hospitalized. 

Also, 2,835 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 40,981,684 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, no cities are red or orange, 53 are yellow, and 395 are blue zones. 

Until today, 59,269,038 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 50,651,228 have received the second dose, 4,361,551 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 114,281,817 doses.
