Tehran (IP) - A member of the Scientific Committee for the National Task Force for Fighting Coronavirus advises health officials to close schools for three weeks.

Iran PressIran news: At the end of a meeting of the Scientific Committee for the National Task Force for Fighting Coronavirus, which was held on Sunday morning at the Heart Hotel in Tehran, Majid Mokhtari responded to Iran Press question and said: "Although the Scientific Committee for the National Task Force for Fighting Coronavirus is not deciding on COVID issues in Iran, the task force is advised to close schools for three weeks to curb Omicron variant."

He noted that the COVID outbreak is still serious and advised Iranians to inject a second dose and then a third dose of the vaccine.
