Iran Press/ Iran news: Speaking at the 22nd ceremony of honoring the country's selected researchers and technologists on Thursday, Ahmad Vahidi stated that the status of knowledge must be determined so that a value chain of command is formed.
"Iran has huge maritime capabilities, so we must make good use of research and technology, which can meet many of the country's needs," Vahidi stressed.
Stating that there is no exact definition for the relationship between the university and technology, Vahidi said: "We in the Ministry of Interior have pointed out to all governors that one of their most important tasks is to address technical issues and should support technological activities."
The ceremony was attended by Sorena Sattari, Vice President for Science and Technology, Mohammad Ali Zolfigol, Minister of Science, Research and Technology, Ahmad Vahidi, Iran's Interior Minister, and Hamid Sajjadi, Minister of Sport and Youths.
Speaking two days ago at the opening ceremony of the 22nd Exhibition of Laboratory Equipment and Materials of Iran and the 9th Exhibition of Research Achievements, Technology, and Market Technique, Sattari said there was a good connection maintained between academia, society, and industry, with the private sector playing an active role in the production of technological products.
