(IP)- The first, second, and third prizes of the Italian Film Festival were awarded to Iranian filmmakers.

Iran PressEurope: Three Iranian films won the top prizes of the second edition of Italy's 'Festival Animali,' held virtually.

All the films at the festival are about the protection of animals.

After a week, the jury awarded the first to third prizes to the animations "Far Away" by Behrouz and Shirin Soleimani Nazir and Farnaz Moazen, respectively; "Paradise" by Majid Reza Eivazi and "Echo" by Barzan Rostami.

Five hundred works from about 300 filmmakers and 50 countries were screened.
