Tehran (IP) – Iran's ambassador to the Republic of Azerbaijan says the two countries have one of the safest borders, and the border cooperation between the two countries is at an extraordinary level.

Iran PressIran News: In an interview with Iran Press News Agency, Abass Mousavi stated that the two countries' border guards communicate with each other, and they surely resolve any dispute or check issues related to any unauthorized entry.

Speaking to Iran Press on the sidelines of a meeting titled "To Review Ways for Strengthening Relations between Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan," Mousavi noted: "After the liberation of the Republic of Azerbaijan's territories, about 132 km were annexed to our common borders, so the two countries plan to strengthen their borders as the borders of peace, friendship, and cooperation."

"We have agreements in borders areas and we are going to have new plans to strengthen the border relations in the meetings between the officials and ministers of the two countries," he said.
