The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran on Thursday night in an Instagram message regarding the ongoing talks in Vienna called on the Western parties to fulfill their past promises.

Iran PressIran news: Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, noting that the aim of the Vienna talks is to reach a good agreement, said: "Western parties should know that in the last eight years, there has been enough talk and no promises have been made, but today is the time to act and we are working to reach a serious and good agreement.

"Iran's nuclear program is peaceful, but resolving the concerns of the Western parties is directly related to the complete lifting of sanctions," Amir Abdollahian added.

At the end of this Instagram message, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran noted: "Although we doubt whether the Western side is in principle ready to lift the sanctions or only seeks to unilaterally resolve its concerns, if the Western side, with good faith, initiative and constructive ideas, continues to participate in lifting sanctions talk, surely there would be rapid progress in the talks."

The meeting of the JCPOA Joint Commission was held on Thursday in the presence of the delegations of Iran and the P4 + 1 group, as well as the European Union, at the Coburg Hotel in Vienna.
