News sources reported Monday night that Yemeni forces fired a missile at the Saudi capital.

Iran PressMiddle East: The Saudi coalition claims to have intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile over Riyadh.

Yemeni officials have not yet commented on the Saudi coalition's claims.

The rocket attack comes as the Saudi coalition announced hours ago that it had bombed Ma'rib province 47 times.

Earlier, Abdul Malik al-Ajri, a member of the Yemeni National Salvation Government's negotiating team in response to the Saudi coalition's heavy airstrikes on the country, said: "The aggressor countries will pay the price for these crimes."

In recent days, Saudi coalition airstrikes on various parts of Yemen, including Sanaa, the capital, have increased, killing dozens of civilians.

Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia's warmongering led to killing and injuring hundreds of thousands of Yemenis and displacing 4 million.

Saudi Arabia's military aggression has destroyed more than 85% of Yemen's infrastructure, leaving the country severely short of food and medicine. 219
