Tehran (IP)- "We expect the capacity of Iranian companies to be used to recounstruct monuments in Nagorno-Karabakh and provide water and electricity to the liberated areas," the deputy speaker of Iran's parliament said in a meeting with the Republic of Azerbaijan's ambassador to Tehran.

Iran PressIran news: In a meeting with Ali Alizadeh, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Iran, Iranian Parliamentarian Ali Nikzad said: "Considering the opening of the air borders of the Republic of Azerbaijan to foreign flights, we hope that the direct flight between Tehran and Baku will resume as soon as possible."

Nikzad also expressed hope that possible obstacles to cooperation between the two countries in customs, energy, transportation, science, and student affairs would be resolved through further talks between the two sides.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Tehran also said: "Many opportunities for cooperation have been created in the liberated areas and in the conversation between the heads of the Joint Economic Commission of the two countries, they agreed on the participation of Iranian companies in the reconstruction of these areas."

In the end, Alizadeh invited Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, and Ali Nikzad, Chairman of the Parliamentary Friendship Group of the two countries, to visit Baku soon.
