Tehran (IP) - The spokesman of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Israel's intention for end of Vienna talks is not surprising because this regime's genesis is based on war, tension, and terror.

Iran PressIran News: In a tweet on Thursday, Saeed Khatibzadeh wrote: "As Vienna Talks advances, Israeli regime shows its true color again, calling for immediate halt of negotiations. Not surprising".

The Iran Foreign Ministry spokesman's tweet came as the Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett called on the US Secretary of State in a telephone conversation to stop the ongoing talks in Vienna.

Khatibzadeh added: "Dialogue is always despised by the regime whose genesis is based on war, tension & terror."

"Delegates in Vienna won't take instruction from Beit Aghion," he noted.

The new round of Vienna talks began last Monday, November 29, with the presence of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the P4 + 1 countries to lift the US' illegal sanctions. Ali Bagheri Kani is the head of the Iranian negotiating team in Vienna.

The US unilaterally withdrew the JCPOA on May 8, 2018, and enhanced sanctions on Iran under its Maximum Pressure policy.

The Iranian team says only the complete lifting of sanctions and the cessation of maximum pressure can lead to the return of the United States to the agreement.
