Vienna (IP) - Iran's top negotiator in Vienna and the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) met and discussed mutual cooperations in Austria's capital.

Iran PressEurope: Rafael Grossi and Iran's top negotiator Ali Bagheri Kani held a meeting in the International Atomic Energy Agency headquarter in Vienna on Thursday and discussed Iran's cooperation with IAEA.

According to Iran's top negotiator in the meeting, he and Grossi talk about future cooperations and there was no talk about IAEA's recent report on Iran's nuclear program.

Earlier today, Bagheri Kani met and held talks with the Coordinator of the Joint Commission of the IAEA Board Enrique Mora, and envoys of the UK, France, and Germany in Vienna with Bagheri Kani.

The new round of Vienna talks began last Monday, November 29, with the presence of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the P4 + 1 countries to lift the US' illegal sanctions. Ali Bagheri is the head of the Iranian negotiating team in Vienna.

The US unilaterally withdrew the JCPOA on May 8, 2018, and enhanced sanctions on Iran under its Maximum Pressure policy.

The Iranian delegation stresses that it is not possible to decide on other issues until the status of sanctions was clarified.

The Iranian team says the current US president is expected to be at least as bold as his predecessor in returning to its commitments to the internationally signed agreement.
