Iran Press/ Iran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on the occasion of the national day of the parliament in Iran, Alireza Salimi stated that the Parliament has passed laws to provide the elites with facilities so that they are encouraged to stay in the country.
Regarding the measures taken for the return of Iranians living abroad, the head of Parliament's Fraction on Expatriates explained that the Iranian fraction abroad has pursued as seriously as possible to return the Iranians living abroad to their country:
"To this aim, various meetings have been held with the relevant officials, and it is on the agenda as a serious issue of the country, and the President, the Judiciary Chief and the Parliament Speaker are all trying to settle this issue."
The fraction had also meetings with Iranian nationals in some countries, despite restrictions, he added and stressed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs should find a better approach to let them return to Iran.
"There are obstacles in the way returning Iran, which we are trying to resolve them through consultations with the Vice President for Science and Technology, the First Vice President, the Minister of Science, the Speaker of the Parliament and the Foreign Minister."
Regarding the recruitment of elites and encouraging them to stay and work in the country, Salimi said that laws were passed to allocate facilities to the elites in order not to let brain drain happen.
The elites' employment also, he said, was being followed up through the relevant offices.
The MP reported that more than 200 prominent people and world-class elites were returned to the country through the Parliament's efforts, and facilities were provided to them.
He said that it was possible to attract elites as faculty members in universities.
As with the Director-General of the IAEA Rafael Grossi's recent visit to Iran and Vienna talks resumption, the member of the Presiding Board of the Parliament highlighted the US withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and the sanctions doubled after that, stressing the US should be held accountable for the outcomes.
"Europeans have also not been committed to their obligations over Iran's nuclear deal, let's say they have not activated the Instrument in Support of Trade Exchanges (INSTEX) and Special Purpose Vehicle (SVP) mechanisms. Was money transferred to our account through these channels?," he said.
"By not fulfilling their commitments, Europeans proved that they were subordinate to the US. In my opinion, Grossi traveled to Iran as an agent of the US," he continued, adding: "He has one theory in Iran, has the other in Europe, so Grossi's view is not technical but a series of political ones."
The Iranian lawmaker advised Grossi to state his technical opinion and prove it, recalling that the International Atomic Energy Agency was an independent, non-US-owned body that did operate neither under the US Congress nor the White House.
It was true that the organization received a large part of its budget from the US, but it must operate independently, he reiterated.
The Iranian MP pointed out the fact that the goal of the JCPOA negotiations was to lift sanctions and that Iran complied with its obligations to the agreement, saying; "If negotiating is not going to have anything for Iran, why should we negotiate?"
He noted that sanctions were totally illegal with the US imposing the most human rights violations against Iran through the sanctions, expressing hope the US would return to the negotiations, technically not politically, and show goodwill.

Seyyed Hassan Modarres (c. 1870 - December 1, 1937), confronted conspiracies and plots which were being hatched by the colonial powers to gain dominance in the strategic important region. He also became staunch supporter of the constitutional movement which was being led by several prominent religious and intellectuals at the time.
