Major General Mohammad Bagheri

Tehran (IP) - Chief of Staff of Iran's Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Bagheri warned the enemies of Iran to refrain from any adventure and committing miscalculations.

Iran PressIran News: In a message on the occasion of Iran's national Navy Day on Saturday, Bagheri wrote: I warn the enemies to refrain from any adventure and commit miscalculations to justify their illegitimate and insecure presence in the region, especially in the Persian Gulf and the Oman Sea.

He said: "If the enemies are present in the region, they should wait for the fire of anger and the will of the nations to force them to flee the region in disgrace."

About 90% of Iran's trade is carried out through the sea, and the sea is still threatened by trans-regional actors and sometimes by maritime terrorism; thus Iran territories in the sea are always under constant control of  Iran's navy.

The presence of Iran's Army Navy and the IRGC's Navy in the sea and coasts and guarding and defending the borders of the Islamic Republic has created peace and secure trade for Iran, especially the inhabitants of the coastal provinces.
