Tehran (IP) - The first round of the Iranian car racing championship in the karting section ended with the victory of Farhad Mousavi.

Iran PressIran news: In the competitions held in ILand (Iranian Land) Car Racing International Racetrack, 30 of Iran's top karting athletes competed in the adult and youth sections, with Farhad Mousavi, Hamed Shaeri, and Vahid Paydari standing respectively first to third places in the adult section.

In the youth section, Mehrbod Shameli, Arman Rokni, and Ilya Ghandehari also stood in the first, second, and third places, respectively.

Farhad Mousavi told Iran Press in an exclusive interview that the level of competitions was excellent and that they were held on an international track.

"Professional and world-class drivers are active in both the youth and adult age categories in Iran, who are eligible to participate in international competitions," Mousavi said.

Also, Mansour Rasooli, who was in charge of the safety of Iran's racetracks, told Iran Press: "Iland is one of the standard racetracks in Iran that has all the required licenses to hold international competitions."
