Tehran (IP) – Iranian minister of culture and Islamic guidance underlines the importance of transformation in cultural sections and the need to have a revolutionary outlook.

Iran PressIran News: Referring to cultural activities, Mohammad-Mehdi Esmaili said on Tuesday that Iran has significant cultural capacities, so competent officials should be appointed to extend those capacities.

He also emphasized transformational plans and said: "I do support all transformational plans," adding that promising measures were taken in cultural sectors.

"In international and national arenas I as a minister carry out nonstop efforts to revolutionize cultural sectors," said the minister.

He announced that young and revolutionary forces support international cultural activities.

 

Transformation is the priority of Islamic culture and relations organization

Also, the newly-appointed Head of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, Mehdi Imanpour, said: "Transformation is the priority of Islamic culture and relations organization."

"We will offer services to people, with 'Cultural Diplomacy' slogan," he added.

He underlined that cultural diplomacy has a direct impact on the country's economy, security, and people's livelihood and stressed highlighting people's role in cultural sectors.

"Cultural diplomacy is a key tool in this era, so efforts must be made to introduce the country's culture perfectly and beyond the boundaries," he pointed out.

In a decree, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad Mehdi Esmaili appointed Mehdi Imanipour as the new Head of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization during a ceremony held on Nov. 23, 2021, Tuesday evening.
