Iran Press/ Iran news: Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, who spoke at the unveiling ceremony of Asian Game pioneers' busts, said: "Sport is a precious asset for the present and the future."
Ghalibaf emphasized having a long-term plan and proper management, especially in the challenging economic and coronavirus status.
The Parliament Speaker asserted: "The Parliament will solve all problems of sports."
Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, the Parliament Speaker, expressed hope to shine in international arenas, the Olympics in particular.
The unveiling ceremony of the Asian Game pioneers' busts was held on Tuesday, Nov 23, 2021, in the presence of Minister of Sport and Youth Hamid Sajjadi, Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, Chairman of the National Olympic Committee Reza Salehi Amiri, as well as deputies, presidents of sports federations, veterans, and champions.
Busts of the Iranian champions Ali Baghbanbashi, Teymour Ghiasi, Mir-Rasoul Raisi, Houshang Kargarnejad, and medalist Razieh Shir-Mohammadi's were unveiled.
