Iran's Deputy FM:
Iran's deputy foreign minister for political affairs Ali Bagheri Kani

Tehran (IP) - Iran's deputy foreign minister for political affairs said that the success of talks, which will start on November 29, depends on the serious will and practical readiness from the other side to lift the sanctions.

Iran PressIran News: The diplomat tweeted that he has explicitly declared Tehran's stance on the talks during the meetings with foreign ambassadors residing in Iran.

In a related development, Ali Bagheri Kani had said over a week ago that Iran has no talks on nuclear issues in Vienna. The case has already been solved entirely within the framework of the 2015 nuclear deal, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

As he stressed, the main question in Vienna talks is the removal of the illegitimate sanctions and the aftermath resulting from the US unilateral withdrawal from the deal.

After the US illegally withdrew the internationally signed JCPOA on May 8, 2018, Iran tried to keep its commitment to the deal provided that the other parties remained committed too. Still, the European parties failed to fulfill obligations in implementing the agreement after the US withdrawal.
