Related News: No nuclear negotiations in Vienna Talks
Earlier, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs had said that no nuclear negotiations would be held in late November Vienna Talks.
"We do not have a nuclear negotiation in Vienna because the nuclear issue was fully solved in 2015 in the form of an agreement reached between Iran and the P5 + 1," Ali Bagheri Kani said on Wednesday.
According to the Iranian deputy foreign Minister, the negotiations instead address the consequences of the US withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), which is focused on the illegal sanctions imposed on the Islamic Republic of Iran.
After the US illegally withdrew the internationally signed JCPOA on May 8, 2018, Iran tried to keep its commitment to the deal provided that the other parties remained committed too. Still, the European parties failed to fulfill obligations in implementing the agreement after the US withdrawal.
