Iran, Romania to cooperate in animal health, veterinary medicine

Tehran (IP) - In a meeting held on Wednesday morning, chaired by Ebrahim Raisi, the government's cabinet issued a permit to sign a cooperation agreement in the field of animal health and veterinary medicine between the governments of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Romania.

Iran PressIran news: Given the special role of Romania as one of the most important producers and exporters of livestock products in the European Union and its good trade relations with the Middle East, the Council of Ministers issued a permit to the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad to negotiate, initial, and sign a cooperation agreement in the field of animal health and veterinary medicine between the governments of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Romania.

The Council of Ministers further authorized the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance to coordinate with the Vice President for Legal Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to negotiate, initial, and sign an interim agreement to encourage and support mutual investment between the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the governments of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Sultanate of Oman.

The cabinet also approved the amendment to the expenditure of credits related to the 'Law on Strategic Action to Lift Sanctions and Protect the Interests of the Iranian Nation".
