Iran calls on Romania to pursue ambiguous death of fugitive judge

Tehran (IP) - Iranian FM Spokesman said Iran calls on Romania to pursue the cause of the fugitive Iranian judge's death Gholamreza Mansouri arrested in that country.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi called on Romanian authorities on Friday 19 June to provide Iran with a report on the accurate cause of the fugitive Iranian judge's death.

Gholamreza Mansouri who was prosecuted by Iran's Judiciary was arrested by the Romanian Interpol.

Earlier, Iran's Interpol chief Brigadier General Hadi Shirzad has confirmed the death of former Iranian judge Gholamreza Mansouri, a fugitive in Romania.

Shirzad said: "We have received a message from Interpol in Bucharest, Romania, that an unexpected incident has occurred for a person wanted by Iran in Bucharest, In which the wanted man had thrown himself out of the window of his hotel."
