Tehran (IP) – Spokesman for the Iranian Parliament's Education, Research, and Technology Commission announced the commission's opposition to the proposed education minister.

Iran PressIran News: During today's open session of the Iranian Parliament and reviewing the competence of the proposed Minister of Education Massoud Fayyazi, the Spokesman for the Education, Research, and Technology Commission Reza Hajipour read the commission's report.

Hajipour said the commission had carefully investigated the proposed minister's competence, and he did not have a Ph.D. based on inquiries.

He stated that Fayyazi was not from the teachers' community and did not have a teaching background; his background was only in research activities.

Hajipour noted that despite the coherence in Fayyazi's programs, the quantitative, strategic, goal, and approach indicators in his programs do not have a precise distinction.

In the end, he announced that the Education, Research, and Technology Commission's opposition to the proposed education minister.
