A 5 magnitude quake strikes Hormuzgan province

Hormozgan (IP): A 5-magnitude solid earthquake shook the city of Fin in the southern Iranian province of Hormuzgan on Monday one after two strong quakes with 6.4 and 6 magnitudes in the exact epicenter in the southeast of Iran.

Iran PressIran news: According to the Seismological Center of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University, the earthquake occurred today in the evening and was 13 km underground.

The epicenter of the quake was located at 27.61 degrees latitude and 56.17 degrees longitude.

No report of the aftermath of the quake yet.

A 6.4-magnitude earthquake shook the city of Fin in the southern Iranian province of Hormuzgan on Sunday. 

It was also felt on Geno mountain, and parts of it collapsed. The quake affected Bandar Abbas, Minab, Rodan, and Qeshm Island.
