FIFA World Cup Asian qualifiers:

Lebanon (IP) - The match between the national football teams of Iran and Lebanon in the qualifying round of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar will be held tomorrow (Thursday) in the 18,000-seat stadium in the city of Saida.

Iran PressMiddle East: Hachem Haidar, President of the Lebanese Football Association, emphasized the excellent condition of Saida Stadium, adding that the stadium facilities were such that the game would be held in the best quality.

He noted that he had visited the Saida stadium several times in recent months.

Yousef Mohammad, assistant coach of the Lebanese national football team, said: "The Iranian national team is the best team in Asia. The lack of spectators is very sad for us, because we are deprived of encouraging the spectators and putting pressure on the opposing team."

The teams of Iran, South Korea, Lebanon, UAE, Iraq and Syria are in the third stage of the World Cup qualifiers in Group A, and tomorrow's match between Iran and Lebanon will be held while the Iranian team is leading with 10 points and Lebanon is in third place with 5 points.
