Tehran (IP) - Deputy head of Customs Administration of Iran reported the import of yet 81st shipment of COVID vaccine.

Iran PressIran News: Mehrdad Jamal Arvanaghi told IRIB on Thursday that the consignment, consisting of 777,600 doses of Sputnik-V COVID vaccine imported from Russia.

The shipment entered Imam Khomeini International Airport and was delivered to the Health Ministry.

According to Arvanghi, this shipment of vaccines is probably the last one imported to the country, and the vaccine will not be imported until further notice.

Simultaneously with the supply of vaccines from foreign sources, general vaccination is underway across the country with    Iran-made Corona vaccines.

So far, more than 90 million doses of the corona vaccine have been injected in Iran.
