Tehran (IP) - Iraqi and Syrian foreign ministers, in separate telephone calls with the Iranian foreign minister, discussed issues of mutual interest.

Iran PressIran News: Iraqi Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein and Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad today (Thursday) in separate telephone calls greeted Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and discussed issues of mutual interest, including bilateral relations and regional developments.

In the phone call with the Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs, the latest developments related to the formation of the new Iraqi government were also examined.

The Syrian Foreign Minister also described the latest developments in Syria and the resistance of the Syrian people.

The foreign ministers of China, Kuwait, Jordan, and some ambassadors to the Islamic Republic of Iran also sent separate greetings to Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and wished him well.

Iran's foreign minister has been infected with the coronavirus in recent days.
