Mariwan (IP) - The 15th edition of the Mariwan International Street Theatre Festival in Kurdistan province, Western Iran is underway, with the COVID-19 protocols being observed.

Iran PressIran News: The plays selected for the 15th Mariwan International Street Theater Festival are 40 works in the free, ritual-traditional, self-sacrifice, and martyrdom and child sections, which have been welcomed by artists, art enthusiasts, and the people of Mariwan.

Foreign theater groups are not participating in the 15th Mariwan International Street Theater Festival this year due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.

The 15th Mariwan International Street Theater Festival is being held for 6 days (October 27 to November 1, 2021).
