Iran logs 156 COVID deaths in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that 156 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 125,519.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to October 26, 2021, 5,877,456 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 5,443,243 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 9,096 cases, out of whom 1,277 patients were hospitalized.

4,184 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 34,970,103 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 22 cities are red, 128 are orange, 215 are yellow, and 83 are blue zones.

So far, 51,455,291 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 30,950,480 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 82,473,271 doses.
