Arak (IP) - Markazi Province of Iran holds Arak Culture Week on the commemoration of the Iranian martyr Chancellor Amir-Kabir.

Iran PressIran News: The anniversary of Amir Kabir's appointment as the chancellor of Iran has been chosen as Arak Day and on this occasion Arak Culture Week.

Amir Kabir was the chief minister to Naser E-Din Shah Qajar 


Arak Cultural Week started on October 2 and is underway until October 26.
Mirza Taghi Khan Farahani known as Amir Kabir born on 9 January 1807 in Arak. He was the chief minister to Naser E-Din Shah Qajar for the first three years of his reign. 
During his era, Amir Kabir brought about many reforms to the governmental and social system of Iran. He is also the founder of the newspaper 'Vaqaye Etefaqiyeh' and the founder of the 'Dar al-Fonun' school.

Arak is considered as one of the main industrial cities due to the main industries


Arak is the capital of Markazi Province, central Iran, and is considered as one of the main industrial cities due to the main industries.
In general, Arak is one of the four industrial hubs of Iran.
In addition to its industrial fame in the world, Arak is also famous for its cultural and historical figures.
There are many historical sites in Arak, including the traditional bazaar of Arak, the Vakil Kolah Farngi Mansion, the Four-Season Bath, and the Museum of Celebrities.
