Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Thursday that 178 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 124,763.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to October 21, 2021, 5,833,525 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 5,375,475 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 11,788 cases, out of whom 1,654 patients were hospitalized.

4,486 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 34,443,370 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 9 cities are red, 106 are orange, 228 are yellow, and 105 are blue zones.

So far, 50,036,416 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 27,604,934 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 77,641,350 doses.
