Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that 167 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 124,423.

Iran PressIran news: According to the official announcement, the total number of COVID-19 patients in the country reached 5,809,967, and 5,347,483 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 13,308 cases, out of whom 1,783 patients were hospitalized.4,622 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 34,224,823 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 9 cities are red, 106 are orange, 228 are yellow, and 105 are blue zones.

In the last 24 hours, 1,266,637 doses of the coronavirus vaccine were injected.

So far, 49,374,208 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 26,006,109 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 75,380,317 doses.
