Tehran (IP)-The 35th International Islamic Unity Conference kicked off with the slogan of Islamic Unity, Peace and Avoiding Discord and Conflict in Muslim World in Tehran.

Iran Press/Iran news: The 35th International Islamic Unity Conference with the slogan "Islamic Unity, Peace and Avoiding Discord and Conflict in Muslim World" began with the speech of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi in Tehran.

The conference is five days long and due to the coronavirus situation, guests from Iran and 39 other countries participate in it virtually and in person.

In addition to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, at the opening ceremony of the conference, Ziyad al-Nakhalah, secretary of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, former Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul Mahdi, and a number of other Islamic world elites will deliver a speech.

The 35th International Islamic Unity Conference will be held from October 19, 2021, to October 24, 2021.
