Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced that 197 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 123,695.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to October 15, 2021, 5,765,904 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 5,294,981 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 11,857 cases, out of whom 1,591 patients were hospitalized.

4,983 COVID-19 patients are in Intensive Care Units (ICU).

So far, 33,787,952 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, seven cities are red, 108 are orange, 248 are yellow, and 85 are blue.

So far, 47,713,258 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 22,816,536 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 70,529,794 doses.
