Raisi: Iran, Japan two old friends, capable of deepening mutual trust

Tehran (IP) - The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran in a message congratulated the Japanese Prime Minister on his appointment, calling Iran and Japan as two old friends who can deepen their mutual trust through bilateral ties.

Iran PressIran news: Ebrahim Raisi in his congratulatory message to Fumio Kishida, expressed hope that his presence in this position will open a new chapter in the friendship between Iran and Japan.

Raisi further expressed confidence that regarding the friendly and historical ties between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Japan and thanks to joint efforts, the relations and cooperation between the two countries will expand in all fields, especially in the economic and commercial fields.

Raisi stated: "The policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran has always been to help strengthen regional and international peace and security in the light of justice and mutual adherence to international obligations and agreements while respecting the sovereignty of independent countries and protecting the rights of nations.

"On this basis, I hope that the strengthening of consultations and joint efforts of the two countries, as in the past, will strengthen relations and regional and international peace and stability," Raisi highlighted.

"Iran and Japan, as two old friends, can deepen mutual trust by giving originality to bilateral relations," concluded he.
