Iran Press/ Asia: In an interview, Fazil Mustafa noted that the Republic of Azerbaijan was always interested in good relations with Iran and other countries, adding: "The approach of all Azerbaijani people is to have normal neighborly relations with Iran."
"Iran is our neighbor and we want to establish our relations in a normal and peaceful way," he said.
He added: "The Republic of Azerbaijan does not interfere in the internal affairs of Iran. We do not participate in any sanctions against Iran. We do not participate in the decisions taken by other countries against Iran. We support the continuation of communication in the region so that together we can turn the region into a zone of peace."
