Iran PressEurope: Various nationalities, including Iranian, Dutch, Iraqi, Afghan, Pakistani, Lebanese, Indian, and Bahraini, performed the Arbaeen March ritual, carrying placards while speeches were delivered about  Imam Hussein (AS) by a number of world figures.

The speakers explained in Dutch the dimensions of the personality of Imam Hussein (AS) and the event of Ashura to the audience and talked about the philosophy of holding the Arbaeen rituals.

Each year, millions of Muslim mourners set out on a symbolic 80-kilometer-long walk that begins from the holy city of Najaf in Iraq, where the holy shrine of Imam Hussein’s father, Imam Ali (AS), is located, to the holy city of Karbala that houses the holy shrine of Imam Hussein (AS).
