Meanwhile, Johns Hopkins reported that at least 111,162 new coronavirus cases were identified in the United States overnight, bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases in the United States to 43,351,460.
Despite the injection of 390,558,487 COVID vaccine doses, the COVID-19 death toll in the United States has risen.
At least 233,226,520 people worldwide have been infected with the coronavirus so far, of which 4,773,701 people have lost their lives, and a total of 6,201,434,393 doses of COVID vaccine have been injected worldwide.
