Dushanbe (IP) - The Iranian Minister of Justice, accompanying the President on his visit to Dushanbe to attend the 21st SCO Summit, met with the Minister of Justice and the Attorney General of the Republic of Tajikistan on Friday.

Iran PressAsia: During the meeting between the Iranian Minister of Justice Amin Hussain Rahimi and the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan, Muzaffar Asurion, the two sides stressed the need to develop cooperation in areas of interest.

They also stressed the need to activate existing agreements.

The Iranian Minister of Justice also met with the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Tajikistan Yusuf Rahmon.

During the meeting, the two sides also stressed the need for cooperation between the region's countries in the fight against terrorism.

The prisoners' swap agreement is scheduled to be signed tomorrow during a meeting between the presidents of Iran and Tajikistan.
