Tehran (IP) – Head of Iran's Red Crescent Society said the 20th consignment of COVID-19 vaccine purchased by the society entered Iran.

Iran PressIran news: Karim Hemmati stated that the consignment was delivered to the officials of the Health Ministry at Imam Khomeini Airport on Thursday.

According to Hemmati, 5 million doses of COVID vaccine were imported to Iran this time.

He announced that with the entrance of this consignment, the Iranian Red Crescent Society has so far imported 35,390,000 doses of COVID vaccine.

He noted that the vaccines imported by the society were Chinese Sinopharm.
