Iran Press/ Iran news: In a press conference on Wednesday to commemorate the national occasion of Sacred Defense, Head of Central Headquarters for Organizing the Sacred Defense's ceremonies and Head of the Foundation of Preservation of Sacred Defense Works and Values Bahman Kargar stated: "The national exhibition entitled "In military uniform' we(the role of the Leader in the Sacred Defense) in the National Museum of the Islamic Revolution and Sacred Defense will be inaugurated by the President Ebrahim Raisi on September 21."
The official further announced the total number of programs of organizations and institutions in the Sacred Defense Week as 3,200 and said: "Holding 70 book unveiling programs including 451 book titles, 200 programs for laying flowers on martyrs' graves, 897 programs for honoring the families of the veterans of war and martyrs, 51 festivals with different topics are among these programs."
Holding over 145 memorials for the martyrs, 101 poetry and remembrance night ceremonies, 27 street theater performances, 321 cultural, artistic, and sports competitions are among the Sacred Defense Week's programs, Kargar stated.
Referring to the headquarters of marking the national commemorations of Holy Defense, Brigadier General Kargar said that the Armed Forces with 18 headquarters, ministries, and state organizations with 28, 31 provincial headquarters, 400 city headquarters, and a total of 477 headquarters are marking the Holy Defense Week with various programs.
