Tehran (IP)- The Head of Islamic Culture and Communication Organization says Iran and China can exchange students in different courses, including Persian and Chinese languages, Iranology in China, and literature.

Iran PressIran news: Abuzar Ebrahimi-Torkaman said: "Ancient Iran and China have many cultural heritage commonalities of course with great civilizational records in the Asia, so we intend to have joined cinematic productions with China."

Speaking on the sidelines of six rounds of Iran-China Cultural talks held at the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization office on September 14, Torkaman added that the university union of the two countries could be established to have joint academic courses and study opportunities for professors.

He also emphasized the expansion of Iran-China's tourism and exhibition corporation.

As the next keynote speaker, Abolhassan Khalaj-Monfared, head of the International Cultural Studies Office of the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization, said holding conferences between the two countries could make the two countries closer together and extend friendly ties between the two nations and governments.

"In the international arenas, Iran and China can fight against arrogant powers, particularly the US," Khalaj-Monfared said. The sixth round of Iran-China cultural talks focusing on examining the dimensions of multilateralism culture in the sphere of the two countries' civilization was held via webinar on Tuesday in full compliance with health protocols.

The webinar was held within the framework of an agreement between Iran's Islamic Culture and Communication Organization and the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
