Tehran (IP) - The Minister of Industry, Mining, and Trade said Iran's metals exports reached up to $10 billion.

Iran PressIran news: Speaking to Iran Press on the sidelines of Industries and Mines Commission, Reza Fatemi Amin said on Sunday that Iran's metal industries were competing with other countries in the global markets.

Iran's steel was currently exported all over the world, Fatemi Amin added.

"The important point is that domestic prices should be determined based on domestic realities and not be affected by external fluctuations such as foreign currency rate, so that its price can be predicted to stabilize the market," the minister emphasized.

Referring to his 3-month plan, he said: "We will pay more attention to the metals' prices, in particular the steel price."
