Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Sunday that COVID-19 had claimed 487 lives during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 114,311.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to September 12, 2021, 5,295,786 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 4,568,236 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 20,219 cases, out of whom 2,747 patients were hospitalized.

7,278 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 30,227,916 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 168 cities are red, 209 are orange, and 71 are yellow zones.

So far, 22,943,141 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 12,104,002 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 35,047,143 doses.
