Iran Press/ Iran news: According to Iran Press News Agency, Hassan Jalili announced this news and added: "So far, nearly ten million doses of COVIran Barekat vaccine have been produced, of which about five million and 200 thousand doses of vaccine have been handed over to the Ministry of Health after passing the quality control process."
The managing director of the ShafaPharmed Factory in Iran stated: "The rest of the vaccines will be gradually delivered to the Ministry of Health for general injection in public vaccination centers after passing these steps."
Jalili explained: "The second industrial phase of the Barekat vaccine production line in the factory started last week, and in the upcoming days, the first shipment of this production line will be obtained by the scientists of Barekat Pharmaceutical Group, and the second phase will be officially opened.
He noted that the new line has the capacity to produce six to eight million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, and it will add a good capacity to Iran's vaccination capacity.
The CEO of ShafaPharmed Factory referred to the installation of the equipment of the third industrial phase of ShafaPharmed Factory affiliated to the executive headquarters of Imam Khomeini's Directive (RA), adding: "We will inform the people about the blessing and creation of a production capacity of more than 20 million doses of vaccine per month."
