Birjand (IP) - The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran emphasized that water is a problem in many provinces of the country, and that the government is taking specific measures to solve the issue.

Iran PressIran news: On arrival in the eastern Iranian city of Tabas on Friday, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said: "With short-term and long-term solutions, including the transfer of water from the Oman Sea, we have put measures on the agenda to solve the problem of people's access to water resources.

Raisi added: "With the help of efficient and valuable youth that we have in South Khorasan province, the government will be able to solve the province's problems."

The President of Iran also stated: "Mines are one of the valuable reserves of this province, and if activated, the problem of employment, production, and economic problems will be solved."

Upon arrival at Tabas Airport for a one-day trip, Ebrahim Raisi was welcomed by the governor of South Khorasan province and a group of senior officials.
