Tehran (IP) - Iranian President stressed the need for rail construction for a jump in non-oil exports.

Iran PressIran news: Speaking at a meeting of the government's economic coordination headquarters on Tuesday, Ebrahim Raisi said: "The approach of the all bodies in various economic fields, especially in the food and medicine production sectors, should be reformed from the import-oriented approach to the localization of the production of goods the expansion of non-oil exports."

In this meeting, trade and exchange rate policies related to export development and import management were reviewed. 

Iran's Ministries of Industry, Mines and Trade, and Economic Affairs and Finance were instructed to take the necessary planning and measures to build up national determination and coordination to remove barriers to production and support the production of goods domestically, especially in the field of home appliance production.
