Iran seeking for yet an inclusive government in Afghanistan: FM

Tehran (IP)- The foreign minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran stresses that the country is still pursuing the establishment of an inclusive government in Afghanistan.

Iran PressIran news: In the virtual meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Afghanistan's 6 neighbors, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said that the foreign ministers were expected to highlight the importance of establishing an inclusive government unanimously.

Amir-Abdollahian noted: "The U.S. has been the main cause of the problems in Afghanistan during the past two decades; They must be held accountable to the Afghan people, region, and the general public of the world and explain that why drug trafficking and export have increased during their presence in and occupation of Afghanistan."

He pointed out that terrorism spread out in Afghanistan, and the Americans had failed to create new structures and build a state.

The Americans claim to have spent $ 2.6 trillion, but the result has been nothing but poverty, disorder and insecurity in Afghanistan, and of course, this wrong policy of the US has brought about unfortunate consequences on the neighboring countries, he recalled.

Amir-Abdollahian reiterated that Iran insisted on dialogue in Afghanistan and believed that military tools would cause the concerns of Afghanistan's people.

Iran is already hosting about 4 million of the Afghan brothers and sisters, and even under the harshest sanctions, has put the vaccination of these 4 million on its priority and spares no effort to support the Afghan people, stated the foreign minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
