Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Wednesday that 538 people had died of COVID-19 during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 112,430.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to September 08, 2021, 5,210,978 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 4,453,651 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 26,854 cases, out of whom 3,713 patients were hospitalized.

7,534 COVID-19 patients are in Intensive Care Units (ICU).

So far, 29,791,562 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 246 cities are red, 144 are orange, and 58 are yellow.

So far, 20,558,038 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 10,892,656 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 31,450,694 doses.
