A former US Marine has shot dead four people, including a grandmother and her grandson, and wounded another.

Iran PressAmerica: A former US Navy-Marine has shot dead at least four people in a house and was arrested after a violent clash with police.

The suspect, Brian Riley, is 33 years old, and police claim that he was fully armed and under the influence of methamphetamine at the time of his arrest.

"The assailant shot at a private property outside Lake Florida, killing a 33-year-old mother, a 40-year-old man, and a 62-year-old grandmother, and a three months old baby," Florida Polk County Sheriff, told a news conference. Published pictures show that much damage was done to this house as a result of the shooting.

An 11-year-old girl was also injured in the incident, but her condition is reported to be favorable. According to the police, the assailant also got into an armed conflict with the police and fired dozens and maybe hundreds of bullets before surrendering.

The incentives of attack on the family are unknown, but Riley's fiance has said that he was at US Navy-Marine service four years before being expelled from the army. Specifically, in Iraq and Afghanistan, the United States had military service.
