Tehran(IP): Iran’s Health Minister said that the country benefits the best medical staff in the region, although we may not benefit from all equipment due to imposed sanctions.

Iran PressIran news: Delivering a speech in the ceremony, which was held to honor Iran’s former Health Minister Saeed Namaki, Bahram EinollahiI noted that resistance economy is persuading in the President Raisi administration.

Einollahi emphasized that we look ahead and make efforts to achieve our goals.

Referring to the number of martyrs in medical staff, the health minister said that Coronavirus demonstrated the real face of our doctors and nurses while enemies were trying to ruin their faces in recent years.

Threats create opportunities, and Coronavirus showed Iran’s medical staff’s success which was a worth mentioning achievement, he noted.

Referring to the eight years of sacred defense, Einollahi stated that all the world was against Iran at that period of time, and even after the Islamic Revolution, we were under pressure in various forms.

Another speaker of the ceremony, Iran’s former Health Minister, Saeed Namaki, said that Coronavirus taught us to rely on ourselves and change management besides all imposed difficulties.

Namaki added that we had less budget than before when facing Coronavirus, but we learned to produce all facilities within the country in six months.

Iran’s imports were decreased by 30%, and local production was increased by 92%, which was a big achievement during the Coronavirus pandemic, Namaki highlighted.

The ceremony to honor Iran’s former Health Minister Saeed Namaki was held on Wednesday in Tehran’s Health Ministry in the presence of new health minister Bahram Einollahi, deputies, and medical university’s head who joined through video conference.
