Iran to receive 3 millions doses of vaccine

Tehran(IP): The assistant to Iran's foreign minister elaborated on the follow-up of the actions to import some 3 million doses of vaccine to Iran.

Iran PressIran News: Assistant to the Iranian foreign minister and director-general of Asia-Pacific Department of Iran Foreign Ministry wrote in his latest tweet:

"The extraordinary import of 2.2 million doses of vaccine was done due to the contribution made by Iran's Ministry of Health last Thursday; some 3 million doses will also enter Iran as part of the COVAX quota."  

Reza Zabib added: "We hope that another COVAX shipment (1 million doses of AstraZeneca) will arrive a bit later."

"The delay was due to the crime of sanctions," Zabib said in a Twitter message.

The Iranian foreign minister's assistant also wrote that the crime of sanctions has definitely caused a delay in receiving the vaccine.
